Visit another part of "Unseen" Vietnam.

• The company is in charge of the construction of a 120 meter wide Nguyen Van Linh Parkway and the development of the Phu My Hung New City Center along with this new boulevard. This New City Center is about 4KM to the current downtown of Ho Chi Minh City and is well known as the most beautiful residential and commercial area in Vietnam.
• A joint venture between CT&D (Taiwan based company) and Tan Thuan Industrial Promotion Co. Phu My Hung Corporation proposed Saigon South Urban Development Project 12 years ago and has been realizing the project since 1993 including the construction of Nguyne Van Linh Parkway, 120 meters in width and 17.8 km in length and the New City Center, recognized the best living area in VN just 10 to 15 minutes drive from downtown.

What will we do there?

Property is the "hottest" asset that many investors are interested in since many of them sees great potential in investing in the property market in Vietnam now.

The person in charge will bring us around the land that Phu My Hung owns and explain to us how the property laws work in Vietnam. We will get a better understanding about who can invest in the property market and how we can invest as a foreigner. The person in charge would also provide us with their insights on what they think the future property market might be in the future.

What will we do there?

We are very fortunate to have Fenix CEO, Group Director and general manager to present to us the company's operations, history as well as future prospects. They will share with us how they succeed when they collaborated with prada and how they fail and finally succeeded when they started their own flag ship store anteprima. They would also share with us how they find their competitive advantage and how they sustain it. We will also be able to walk through the whole fabri processing system as well as get to tour around the company.

What will we do there?

The person in-charge will brief us on how VSIP comes about and how VSIP can support us in terms of infrastructure, fundings and other support if we want to set up a business in Vietnam. We will also get to tour around VSIP where many companies like nestle, maple tree, johnson & johnson have business operations there.

VBL Brewery is a joint venture between APB and VBL. We are very honoured that they agreed to let us tour around the brewery. It would be very beneficial to those who have not taken AB311 to understand more about strategic alliance like joint venture and a reinforment of concept for those who have taken the module. The tour details are as follow:

We will be visitin the most renowned Univeristy in Vietnam. We will get to exchange ideas with the students as well as tour around the school.

4.00 pm - Visit Cuchi Tunnel

“Explore the amazing tunnels used by the guerillas during the Vietnam war”.

Cuchi Tunnels is just about 60 km northwest of Saigon. It is one of the most fascinating historical sights of Vietnam-American

War. The beginnings of the Cu Chi tunnels date back to Vietnam's struggle for independence from the French, but it was not until the Vietnam-American War that the tunnel network was widely expanded to cover a total distance of some 250 kilometers (155 miles). A small part of this network has been restored and opened to visitors to cast a fascinating light on the lives of the Cu Chi guerrillas and their hideouts. Going to Cu Chi where you are taken underground to experience a glimmer of the conditions in which these people lived and fought. The short visit gives you a better understanding of guerilla fighting tactics of Vietnamese. The tour also tells you more about the War and why Vietnam was divided into two.
